Monday was a great day in Queenstown. We drove over to Arrow, and old gold mining town about 30 minutes from Queenstown. It is a quaint town filled with historic buildings which contain shops and restaurants. There is also a museum there. Some of the old miner cottages are still around and are being converted to businesses or used by the museum.

On the way back to Qeensland, we stopped and looked at the jet
boats. They travel at high speeds on the river and try to scare
the #@$% out of you by seeing how close they can get to rocks without
crashing. I figured I can save some money do it for free in my own boat
at Lake Buckhorn! (or just take a ride in my boat with my brother Steve driving!)
When we got back to Queenstown, we rode the gondola to the top of the mountain.
On the way to the gondola, we came across this frog.
Has anyone not heard my frog joke?

This was funny! On the way back from the top of the mountain,
these girls (college age) ran up to Reg and asked if he would put
lipstick on and kiss one of the girls, some sort of contest they were in,
of course Reg said yes, put the lipstick on and kissed the girl on the cheek,
when he was finished, I told hi the joke was on him, that the lipstick would never come
off. It did!
1. Did you buy me anything made of jade?
ReplyDelete2. Smile in your pictures!
3. Seriously LOL'ing about Reg and the lipstick.
